iPad Causes iPhone Development Peak

February 18th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS, Research & Stats | No Comments »

Flurry Flurry has calculated that the introduction of Apple’s iPad lead to an increase in iPhone OS development interest. The company has seen development activity triple in January.

During January, 1.600 new projects containing Flurry where started by developers. Though a big part of that could be caused by the iPad announcement, the company also thinks it could be the cause of new budgets for development projects.
