IMGA Shortlists Announced

ImgaThe International Mobile Game Awards have announced their shortlist for the upcoming awards show. The shortlist is generated based on the scores given to the mobile games from a series of online judges.

    1. Hi. I’m from Pixelthis – our game Mr. Ice Cream is nominated as one of the finalists in the casual games category.
      Thought people might be interested to know that Mr. Ice Cream (and all our games) is developed in Flash Lite and is the only Flash Lite game in that category, and only one of two nominated all together (the other is Tropictos by IKS mobile).

      Hi,
      I see that several shortlisted games are in fact already published by Nokia, the platinum sponsor of the International Mobile Games Awards and that at least two other were winners of the previous session..
      Also I think that some selected games are less than impressive (especially in the Connected category) and are in fact pure mockups that will not be converted to real games anytime soon.. Check the “Pass It On” video on the IMGA website for example, it is obvious that the smartphones shown are in fact playing a video made with a 3DSMAX or an other software of the same kind.
