It has been a bit silent on awards being passed out the past few
months, but today we can congratulate I-Play with their latest price,
the Duke’s Choice Award.

I-Play won this award with their game “24 Agent Down”, a mobile games based on the TV series that stars Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. The game has been selected as the best by the Java.com community.

"We honor the best with Duke’s Choice, and 24: Agent Down is a great example of Java technology providing a platform on which exciting and engaging content can be built," said Chris Melissinos, Sun Microsystems’ chief gaming officer.

I-play boss David Gosen added, "We are thrilled to have won a Duke’s Choice Award. This type of acknowledgment strengthens our reputation of developing innovative and creative mobile games that appeal to the casual gamer and further reinforce our proven track record of transforming valuable Hollywood properties into successful mobile games."
