No it is not ER, no really, I-Play is releasing original IP here and the fact that there is a TV show called ER being broadcasted world-wide… is simply clever marketing!
When the press release dropped into my mailbox and I read the headline, I thought I-Play has licensed the ER brand for their next mobile game as nearly every week they license some brand for mobile use. This time however, the press release clearly stated that I-Play is introducing original IP.
In the game, you operate as a junior emergency room doctor and have a mission do cure patients as fast as possible. Failure to do so will result in more treatments for the patient and strange illnesses that transform the patients into werewolves or other strange things. Kind of reminds me to good old Bullfrog’s Theme Hospital… Those where the days!
