Right before the holiday season, Hudson has chosen to sack a big part of it’s Q&A and porting team in order to bring down costs of mobile game development.
John Greiner from Hudson explains that the costs of porting are a big problem for the mobile game developer and in order for the mobile games department to be more profitable, outsourcing is the key to success. As the porting is outsourced, there is also no need any more for a big Q&A department. The number of employees that will be at home during the holidays is unknown.
