Next to HTC, Reuters expects Huawei to already be talking with Palm about a takeover. Huawei is a competitor of HTC that is known for many operator branded phones in Europe and the US.
Just like HTC, Huawei doesn’t really have an own OS and could utilize Palm also to increase its presence in the US market. Next to that, the company would get a well recognized consumer brand.
