Though this year we have heard several rumors about Herocraft being bought, it seems something is about to happen very soon.
Our source who is close to the company told us that discussions about a strategic investment in Herocraft are in an advanced state. The amount of the transfer as well as ownership details are unknown at the moment, though the discussions seem to be amount a minor stake in the company. The investment is coming from outside Russia. Given the size of the company and it being a minor stake, we guess it is an investment of three to six million dollars.
Herocraft has 4 studios in two countries and develops on several mobile and online/PC platforms. The company houses about 80 employees. Over the past eight years, the company has released about 100 games.
