Over the past couple of months, our sources say Herocraft has been in negotiations with various companies in search to find a new partner suitable partner for growth. Negotiations have ended, putting the company back on the market.
The company is now looking for another suitable, long-term strategic partnership. Analysts predict Herocraft to be worth about $10 million. The company has 4 studios and also produces PC games. The company has 70 employees. The company’s biggest investor so far is iFree, one of the bigger companies in the CIS area.
The company’s portal has 1.5 million active users a month and has a large portfolio of games (Farm Frenzy, Majesty etc.) on various platforms ranging from J2me to Android and iOS. The company has deals with over 100 distribution partners including direct deals with various app stores. The company also won the Global Mobile Award (MWC Barcelona) 2011 for the best Nokia application.
