With 14 million mobile games downloaded, Greystripe’s GameJump.com shows the importance of free (ad funded) mobile games for consumers. With Konami joining up, you’d expect branded games to top the download charts…
Well, almost. In fact, the most recent download charts shows not a single branded game in the mobile game in the top 10 downloads. In fact, the number one game is called ‘Funky Monkey in Funky Monkeyland’. One of the most recent games from German developer HandyGames (which is actually the biggest independent publisher still on the market). The full list is below.
01 Funky Monkey in Funky Monkeyland | HandyGames
02 SameGame 2 | SDW Developments
03 Solitaire | Relaxas
04 360 Speed | Soulbiz Entertainment
05 2006 World Soccer | Mobility Zone
06 Aqualife, Bogee | Interactive
07 Virtual Dragon | DS Effects
08 Blind Fury | United Fun Traders
09 Jacado Klondike | Zindell Technologies
10 Black Shark | United Fun Traders
"Its a honor to see our Title as Nr.1 game in the top download chart. We show the audience that our titles are making good figures also beside the operator portals. And that the endcustomer love our titles" said Christopher Kassulke, CEO of HandyGames to MobileGamesBlog.com
