Handmark announced it has appointed Jason Ford as its Vice President of Games he will play a key role in ramping up the company’s games development and further expand its presence in the mobile gaming market
Jason will oversee the company’s global gaming strategy and development teams, including Astraware, the UK-based Handmark Games Studio, which Handmark acquired in January 2008.
“Jason has established himself as one of the most notable leaders in the mobile gaming industry, with a proven ability to innovate and deliver solid results,” said Paul Reddick, Handmark CEO. “I am delighted to welcome him to our team as we seize new opportunities that will drive the growth of this vibrant market.”
Jason already has a broad history in mobile gaming. He served at Namco Networks as VP Strategy and Planning and he worked as general manager of games for Sprint.
“I’m really excited to join the Handmark team,” said Ford. “We not only have a solid team of bright, creative, and hardworking individuals, but we are in a great position to really have fun going after the fantastic innovative opportunities in the mobile gaming industry.”
