Google’s Android Below Expectations

GoogleAs Google released it’s Android toolkit, expectations from the development community may have been set to high as The Wallstreet Journal reports about the bugs in the first toolkit release.

According to software developer Adam MacBeth, functionality in the software is missing, poorly documented or doesn’t work at all. Rick Genter, another developer, said that the software from Google is buggy, but not really worse then other software.

Google responds with the message that the current toolkit is an early look version. This means Google is working to make sure that Android will be fully functional when the first mobile phones with Android are released next year.
