During the presentation of Google’s financials, CEO Larry Page stated that Google will try to aim for cheaper tablets. Larry talked about the success cheap Android devices have. Even if they are not running Android in the way Google intended them to.
Cheap Android tablets like the Kindle Fire are a huge success for the Android platform and Larry expects them to become even more popular in the near future. When asked if the rumours about Asus developing a $200 tablet with Google are true, he did not want to comment.
