The Nexus One has just become reality and with the launch of the device, Google is going D2C as consumers from the US, UK, Singapore and Hong Kong can order the device directly at the company.
Next to buying the device directly from Google, consumers can also get it with a 2 year subscription from T-Mobile USA and in the near future with Verizon (so T-Mobile has no exclusivity). In Europe, Vodafone will start selling the device.
It is not the first time Google is selling Android phones directly. In the past, Google opened a storefront for developers to acquire the G1/Dream.
