Google set to Launch Assistant to Battle Siri

Some love it, others hate it. Apple’s personal assistant Siri. Following the Ziggy app on Windows Phone, Google is also preparing their Assistant to launch on the Android platform.

Just like Siri, Assistant will offer much more than search alone. It will allows consumers to update their agenda’s, send out text messages and much more. Assistant was under development at Google X, Google’s ‘secret’ development house. During development, the project was known as Majel.
