Google TV is coming (at least in the US) and so, the giant put a website online explaining all the Google goodness we will be able to receive from the company. Why this matters to mobile developers? Read on…
Just like Apple TV runs on iOS, Google TV runs on Android. This means Android developers can start developing apps that can be used on the TV. Developers do have to keep in mind that users will be using the apps with a remote control instead of their fingers. A new interface that brings limitations as well as new options. Another element to keep in mind is that your graphics have to be TV friendly. Google will open the TV version of Android Market early 2011. Till that time, only a select group of developers will have access to play around with this new toy.
