Google Checks Out PayPal for Android Market!?

August 24th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS | No Comments »

Though PayPal has already made available API’s to allow billing for virtual items, it seems eBay and Google are now discussing further integration of PayPal into the Android Market.

Though PayPal is the primary competitor to Google’s Checkout service, it could be a very interesting deal for developers as it seems consumers are not that interested in Google Checkout while many do already have a PayPal account. Add the rumored operator billing to the platform and Android Market will finally be mature enough to provide developers serious revenues.
