Though some folks on Twitter noticed it earlier this week, it then seemed to be a small error. Now however it seems the removal of the Google Books app for the iPhone has been on purpose.
Why the app from Google has been removed isn’t clear, but it is highly likely that Apple removed the app as it is violating the new policy in regards to the new terms of service from Apple as Google Books was still offering content outside the App Store. The last update to Google Books was last April, suggesting that removal wasn’t on Google’s schedule at all.
Congratulations
