Glu has made a new appointment to the management by adding Olivier Bernard as EMEA sales director. Olivier will be responsible for the France and the BeNeLux area.
In this role, Bernard achieved the company’s strongest revenues to date in the region, including growing Glu’s position in France from no. 5 to no. 2 publisher in France, according to the leading carriers in that region.
“Glu’s success as a global publisher is the result of our ability to leverage capabilities worldwide while maintaining deep focus within each country and region within which we operate,” said Frank Keeling, managing director of publishing, EMEA, Glu Mobile. “Olivier has been an exemplary leader within the organization and has demonstrated his ability to establish and build upon a local presence to become a leader on a regional level.”
As sales director, EMEA, Bernard’s primary role will be to manage and develop Glu sales in each territory within EMEA. Prior to Glu, Bernard served as Global Game Operations Manager at Vodafone. Before joining Vodafone, Bernard held positions as senior product manager for console and mobile services at Babelmedia and as planning manager at Atari.
