Glu has finalized the acquisition of US based mobile game developer and publisher Superscape Mobile for the amount of $ 35.7 million and updated their fiscal forecasts.
The acquisition is expected to positively influence Glu’s financial results in the first and last quarter of this year. This also means that Glu positively altered their financial expectations for this year. Along the first quarter, Glu expects a revenue increase of $ 800K. For the full year, Glu expects revenues up to $ 18.4 million.
Though the acquisition is now finalized, the company still didn’t manage to get hold of the full 100% of outstanding Superscape shares. Glu will keep hunting for the last shares that are out in the market.
The acquisition will without doubt mean that Glu, at some point, will take the Superscape brand out of the market. The same happened to the iFone brand a few years back.
