Glu has announced a strategic partnership with Warner Bros. to deploy
several games along North and South America based on Warner Bros. movie
and cartoon IP.
Back in the days that Glu was still Macrospace, Glu already distributed several games based on cartoons coming from Warner Bros.’ Hanna Barbara cartoon library. Now, Glu will gain access to the DC Comics and Loony Tunes catalogues as well as movies like Oceans Thirteen and 300.
"Warner Bros. has an immense portfolio of properties loved by millions of people around the world, and we look forward to giving fans a way to experience great games on their mobile phones," said Greg Ballard, chief executive officer, Glu. "This multi-year partnership with Warner Bros. reinforces Glu’s position as a leading independent publisher of mobile entertainment and speaks to our ability to develop and deliver quality content to consumers around the world."
