Mobile game developer and publisher GlobalFun has announced to be preparing for an IPO in Sweden during the first quarter of 2008.
GlobalFun has offices in Sweden, USA, Argentina, Italy and Spain.
“We are at the tipping point and felt that an IPO would give us the tools needed to push forward faster. There’s a lot of interesting movements in the market that will define this industry as we move on. To have some of the stock floating provides both a small injection of funds but more importantly a market valuation of the company and a currency for acquisitions” commented Marcus Johansson, CEO of GlobalFun.
