GlobalFun has entered into liquidation as of September 13th 2010. GlobalFun was a publisher from the old days that supplied a broad portfolio of branded and non-branded mobile games and apps for various platforms.
Key successes for the company have been securing an aggregation partnership with SonyEricsson as well as securing a brand licensing deal with Turner Media.
The operations have, according to Swedish Law, been taken over by an administrator. The operation continues at least until the administrator has decided the next steps. Lars Werner, Advokatfirman Werner HB has been selected to be the administrator. Lars is assisted by Lawyer Paula Eninge in this process.
Marcus Johansson, former CEO of GlobalFun, commented: “I have been asked to and accepted to support the administrator to find the best possible solution, given the circumstances, for the stake holders in GlobalFun including but not limited to suppliers, partners, customers and employees. For the time being we are continuing our day to day operation.”
Congratulations
