In a third round of financing, Get Jar has secured $25 million in capital. Though the company is running open app stores for multiple OS environments, the money will mainly be used for a push into Android.
To date, GetJar has processed 1.5 billion downloads and has multiple routes to market of which many are through operators.
The round was led by Tiger Global Management and supported by Accel Partners.
