The MeeGo platform, developed by Nokia and Intel, will soon be popping up in cars of various brands thanks to a warm recommendation from the Genivi alliance.
MeeGo will be used to power ARM based in-vehicle infotainment systems. The first ARM supporting version of MeeGo is expected to be finished by October (currently MeeGo only runs on x86). BMW, General Motors, Hyundai, PSA Peugot, Citroen and Renault are all part of the alliance and likely to support this recommendation.
Congratulations
