Namco is taking their games multiplatform with their Unite SDK. Through the SDK, gamers can challenge each other over different machines but within the same game.
This means a PC player could easily challenge an iPhone player. In fact, the environment is much like Microsoft’s Live service as players have a(nother) single login for all the games over all platforms and can track his or her account online.
