Sometimes we think Mike Yuen (and since today also Markus Kassulke) are the only ones fighting for innovation in the industry. At GDC however, Paul Coulton explained a view new visions on how mobile games can improve. WiiSpin launched the short version of it.

Not to oversimplify this, but consider that advanced gyroscope technology like that from InvenSense can be used to improve image stabilization for cameras in wireless phones. This same technology can be used for motion sensing.
So could this mean someday a phone could actually be used as a Wii-like controller? Combine this with concepts like the GEC (Good Enough Console) that I’ve written and spoken about
