The guys over at Gamasutra sat down with Gameloft’s worldwide publishing senior VP Gonzague De Vallois to talk about the publisher’s plans to release games for Nintendo’s DSi Ware platform.
Gameloft has planned two launch titles ready when the device hits the shelves next month. The company managed to do the same when the original DS entered the shelves as the company had released a Splinter Cell and a racing game. Their developers have been working on the game since January, when they had received the SDK.
De Vallois explains that the DSi fits perfectly in the strategy of Gameloft. It’s a digital download platform just like WiiWare, PSP Store, XBLA and mobile. Next to that, Gameloft’s strategy has always been to hit platforms as early as possible.
