Gametrail announced a 400% increase in their userbase. Not that bad considering the service launched not that long ago. The company also give some stats about their users.
Users spend about 5 minutes in their app and browse between 4 and 5 titles in a session. About 10% of the users proceeds to purchase an app they spotted in GameTrail. Consumers are three to five times more likely to buy an app with a video attached to it. The most popular genre is trategy.
In the new version of their app, the company introduces ‘trailing’. Users can index their apps and will receive suggestions based on what they have installed on their phones.
