The Gameplay event in The Netherlands is probably one of the smallest and least interesting events to the mobile industry on a global scale but still it made us curious to see if and how mobile will be present as for The Netherlands it is the most important gameshow.
Friday Morning we reported in for the Gameplay show. The whole morning was reserved for press and trade partners which means no kids at all on the floor and all the time to take a good look around. Though the floor was stuffed with big publishers that have a big foot into mobile like THQ and SEGA, the only company showing off mobile was EA Mobile, represented by Petra Steenstra.
Though there was not much news on the mobile gaming front, there certainly was news on the mobile front itself as operator Wizzl launched. More on that in a dedicated report.
