The heat was on during MEM 2007 in Monte Carlo this year as several developers hoped to bring home a Meffy for their mobile games. This year, Gameloft took home the award.
Gameloft had entered the contest with their mobile game Miami Nights: Singles in the City.
“We are particularly honoured to have been chosen by our peers for this coveted award which takes both quality and sales achievement into account” said Alexandre Tan, managing director of Gameloft UK. “Miami Nights: Singles in the City is one of our top selling games ever and sales continue to climb thanks to critical acclaim.”
Other nominated games for the awards where Tornado Mania from Digital Chocolate, Brain Genius from Glu, UEFA Champions League 2006-2007 from EA Mobile and I-Play’s The Fast and The Furious.
