Gameloft has something to celebrate. The mobile games developer and publisher has announced that it has sold over 200 million games since it started it's mobile gaming business back in 2003.
Though Gameloft is aiming at more and more platforms every year, the majority of their sales has still been generated on the mobile platform where they started with J2me games.
"Whatever platform people are using, they will demand a very good game. … We need to provide games that are as good as on consoles." said Michel Guillemot, CEO of Gameloft. "When you have 7,000 apps, you need consumers to tell friends you have a good game," Guillemot says. "If you do something different, better, more interesting, consumers will take you out of the crowd."
Congratulations!
