Recently, Lemonquest started selling of their J2me assets. Reason for this was a shift of focus to smartphone platforms and though the offering was big, the licenses where expensive and fragmented.
Now it seems the last lemon has been squashed as the homepage of the company is showing a crying lemon in the spotlights.
Lemonquest was one of the few studios that started off in the J2me market and managed to survive for a long time on work-for-hire deals.

LemonQuest tried to sell his portfolio because it is on the verge of bankruptcy. His leadership has been disastrous, a great example of how not running a business. A whim of a rich kid playing at being an entrepreneur, who has earned many enemies for his bad manners.
Cannot agree with Mr. Orange more – very unprofessional company/management. Too many persons coming and going and contracts were worth nothing. So lets see what the entrepreneur will start of soon. A I think they still have their browser games or are they down as well.
Hope that the developers remain in the mobile games arena, they created by far some of the best looking games to ever hit a Java device.
