New on Kickstarter is the Galileo. A tripod-mountable base system that allows developers full control over an iPhone’s movement. The idea comes from the creators of the famous Gorillapod.
Though the device is pitched as ideal for conferencing and baby-monitoring, the Galileo is able to do much more. As the project is on Kickstarter and the inventors need to please investors, they already promised a full blown SDK to communicate with the device.
