Over the past months, books have become more and more popular on the iPhone. Over the months September and October, more books have been released then games according to Flurry.
In September, books took the lead when it comes to product releases. In October, one out of five releases was a book. One of the benefits of this sort of app is that consumers don’t mind engine re-use at all. They probably even prefer it.
With this strategy, the growth will probably continue and Apple could bring some competition to e-book giant Amazon (though we still prefer e-paper for long reading).
Congratulations
