Flipboard Partly Blocked in China

Flipboard har been pretty successful in China, partly because it was one of the few apps Chinese could use to access popular sites like Twitter and Facebook. Those have now been closed off.

The reason the Chinese people could use Flipboard to access those sites was because traffic ran over Flipboard’s US servers and those hadn’t been blocked by China’s firewall. Even though those services are now blocked out, Flipboard is still available for download in China.
