It seems that having communities around your mobile games is pretty
important. Gameloft is known for it’s successful forums, and now
Fishlabs releases the myFishlabs service.
To promote the service, registered users will get the option to send free SMS messages (launch of that service at the GC). Also, there is a credit system that creates a true Fishlabs currency. The more credits bought in advance, the cheaper the credits (and thus the mobile games) are. Every new sign-up will get 20K free credits which is enough for 1 free Fishlabs mobile game. This offer also launches at the GC.
The service manages global leaderboards so registered players can compete together. Also, gamers can get updates on the games they bought and acquire new in-game content.
