Though FishLabs is not really known for it's iPhone adventures yet, the company has now released it's first advert game on the platform. It's a mobile 3D game in which the company promotes the new Volkswagen Polo.
VW Polo Challenge is a pure racing game with the new Polo on eight tracks. Steering is done by tilting the iPhone and the Hamburg-based newcomer band Feinkost from the Volkswagen Sound Foundation provides a cool theme to it.
Those who want to test drive the new Polo in real life can use the game menu to navigate to the nearest VW dealer via GPS and Google Maps.
“With this game, Volkswagen is breaking new ground and innovatively and consistently implementing the concept of integrated communication in all media. At the same time, we are addressing a young target group,” says Volkswagen CRM and Internetmarketing. “FISHLABS have more than lived up to their excellent reputation as a studio for first-class 3D mobile games and have supported VW with their extensive know-how. The new Polo is outstandingly positioned.”
“VW has really touched the zeitgeist with the 3D racing game for the new Polo. Everyone is talking about the iPhone and iPod Touch and games are by far the most popular application for these groundbreaking platforms,” explains Michael Schade, CEO of FISHLABS Entertainment GmbH. “With the help of our large fan community of umpteen million mobile gamers, the new VW Polo will spread like wildfire on the iPhone and iPod Touch.”
