Financials: Gameloft’s Q1 09

May 3rd, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Companies & M&A | No Comments »

Gameloft Last week, Gameloft released it's financial data for the first quarter of 2009. Though the holiday season was great, numbers seem a bot off year-on-year.

During the 2007-2008 transition, the company's results went 2% down. From 2008 to 2009, the results went down 8.8%. Yet, there is also good news as the revenues are 22% up year-on-year.

The company's mobile revenues went up 1% compared to their console business (compared to 2008).  Sales in Europe went down to 35% and the US went up to 37%. The North American sales went up 57%.

Gameloft expects to grow its revenues and to improve its profitability in 2009.
