Financials: EA’s Q1 2010 (Q2 2010 for us)

August 4th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Companies & M&A | No Comments »

EA has reported a total profit of $96 Million over the first quarter of their fiscal year 2011. That is an increase in revenues of $330 million year-on-year.

Mobile represented for $52 million in revenues. That is up $1 million year-on-year but $3 million down compared to Q1. Much of the success for EA has been because of its App Store releases for Apple’s iPad and iPhone 4 as well as the performance of its world-cup based franchises. Key titles for EA Mobile’s second quarter will be FIFA 11, Madden NFL 11 and MySims Skyheroes.
