Financials: DeNa’s Q1 2010 – Heading for No. 1

DeNa has released their quarterly financials and they seem to be looking good for the giant as it prepares to take over the number one position in Social Gaming from competitor Zynga. Both also develop and publish mobile titles.

DeNa generated $138 million in revenues from operations (up 282% year-on-year) while total revenues are $279 million. During the quarter, DeNa publisher 2 new social games while third party developers added another 350 titles. Social games accounted for 84% of the revenues.

“Becoming the premier social gaming company appears extremely feasible when reviewing our impressive first quarter results,” says Tomoko Namba, CEO of DeNA. “DeNA will expand by utilizing its uniqueness as a platform operator and game developer.”
