Facebook announced the acquisition of Instagram. Earlyer today we reported about the massive success of the photography app on the android platform. Now it will be part of the ever growing Facebook family.
The news was announced by Mark Zuckerberg. He explained that Facebook is all about sharing photo’s with friends and family. Instagram allows Facebook to improve the experience. Facebook bought the company for 1 billion in shares of Facebook and cash.
