With the release of the new Android 1.6 SDK, the team has introduced a new API that will help developers to support gestures without putting too much time in writing the actual code.
To support you in working with the API, the team even created a Gestured Builder that will allow developers to simply draw the gestured they want to support in their game. More details about the new Gesture API can be found at the Android Developer Blog.
