According to several rumours, EA is about to terminate one of the longest lasting brands in racing games because of restructuring plans. Indeed, we talk about the highly acclaimed Need for Speed series.
Following the rumours, EA is about to close their Black Box studios. Black Box has always been responsible for releasing the series. Last week, EA announced to lay-off part of it's staff and shrink the portfolio. The end of Need for Speed seems to be the first direct result.
