Though DJ screens and video’s from Fishlabs had already leaked on the internet, EA Mobile now released The Sims DJ and The Sims Bowling for mobile phones around the globe.
"The Sims is a franchise that has been very successful for mobile – the games play nicely to the casual audience and work perfectly on the platform," said Travis Boatman, VP of Worldwide Studios at EA Mobile. "Both new games allow players to live vicariously through a Sim that they create, either as a celebrated bowling champ or DJ, regardless of the players’ real life talents and possibilities."
In The Sims Bowling, players create their own sim and start one of the challenges offered in the mobile game. Also, players can challenge each other online in bowling matches. The Sims DJ however is much more career focussed and fits much more in the original storyline of The Sims. The Sims DJ allows players to build up a career as a DJ. Players can choose a variety of genres to spin on their gigs. The money they earn in the game can be used to obtain new tracks and DJ gear.
