EA Mobile is reshaping itself these days. Last week they hired Barry Cottle as new CEO and today, Tim Harrison has been added to the team as new director of marketing for Europe.
Previously, Tim Harrison has been active, leading Vodafone Global’s games department and did some work for OMTP as well before this new role.
For those of you hanging on in this industry a bit longer, you might remember a similar move from IndiaGames a few years ago. IndiaGames was entering the European market and wanted to have a better chance to cope with the competition. In order to achieve this, they hired the games content manager of Vodafone UK who brought IndiaGames in Europe to where they are today… Needless to say, with Tim being a few steps higher up the ladder, we are interesting to see what will happen in EA’s marketing strategies.
