EA Acquires Bight Games

EA has bought yet another mobile developer. This time it’s the studio that has already developed several games for EA Mobile (NBA Jam, Fleeced).

EA acquired the studio for its iOS development skills as well as its knowledge of developing successful freemium games. One of the successful Freemium titles from Bight Games is Trade Nations. Bight is added to a mobile portfolio that already holds PopCap Games, PlayFish and Chillingo.
