Dutch iPhone Repair Service Warns Consumers About iOS 4.0

June 29th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | 1 Comment »

A Dutch iPhone repair service has sent out a warning to the media that consumers should not upgrade their iPhone 3GS models to iOS 4.0 as there are simply too many problems.

iPhone Service Center is specialized in fixing iPhones with damages that are not under the warrantee. Currently they get many calls of consumers who are having problems with their iPhone 3GS after upgrading it to 4.0. The main complaints are related to extreme battery drainage and the device running at very slow speeds. Consumers are advised to wait for a more stable firmware version from Apple.

I backed-up the phone before I started, like if you read the instructions.
The upgrade of my wife’s 3G phone went seamless…it did take longer than I expected, but she is happy 🙂
