Dorling Kindersley and Handango Open Up Shop

It seems book publishers are in a race for the heart and wallets of the smartphone owners visiting them. Book store Dorling Kindersley announced the launch of their app store DK App Shop.

The DK App Shop is built together with Handango and features staff picks. The book store hopes many new developers will sign up to beef the app portfolio even more. The DK App Shop supports Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows Mobile and iPhone though iPhone is only a mirror of Apple’s App Store (probably using affiliate links).
