Disney Mobile is expanding it’s presence in the market of mobile games
even more. Having acquired Living Mobile a bit over a year ago, they
established a stable basis of development and distribution in Europe.
In China however we have now seen the second acquisition.
After buying Mobile2Win last year, Disney felt a clear need to buy a second mobile gaming company. According to MoCoNews their latest acquisition is Enorbus on which Disney spent $ 20 million. The financial backers in the company included Carlyle and Qualcomm Ventures.
“Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG) acquired Enorbus, a software developer with operations in China. The acquisition further demonstrates the company’s commitment to expanding its global presence and in providing compelling entertainment anywhere and anytime. It also will provide a solid foundation for continuing to grow WDIG’s mobile content business around the world.”
