Digital Chocolate has announced that the company will sue Zynga over the use of the name Maffia Wars. According to DC, Zynga claimed the trademark while DC’s game was already out under the same name.
In fact, DC has asked Zynga before to stop using the name Maffia Wars for their game. As Digital Chocolate has migrated from mobile development only, to digital distribution (which includes Facebook), it is only logical that DC wants to bring their IP to the same platforms where Zynga is active.
